Your email, name and hashed password; the prompts, media and projects you create; credit and payment records (card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers); and basic technical logs.
To run the service: generating your videos (your prompts and uploads are sent to AI providers such as Google and LTX to do the generation), billing, sign-in, and support. We don't sell your data, and we don't send marketing email.
We send two sorts of email, and they work differently.
Account email — confirming your email address, resetting your password, and agency invitations. These are part of running your account, so they are always sent and cannot be turned off.
OneTake updates — occasional news about the product: new features, changes that affect how you work. This is switched on by default. You can turn it off at any time from the checkbox in the sidebar of your account, or by replying to any update asking to be removed, and we will stop. Turning it off never affects account email.
We don't sell your address and we don't pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
Your projects and videos are stored on our servers so you can come back to them.
When a project or an account is deleted, it disappears from the account straight away and stops counting towards your storage allowance — but we hold the underlying files for 30 days before destroying them.
This exists for your protection. If someone ever got into your account and deleted your work, a delete that took effect instantly would be permanent within seconds. The window gives you time to notice and reach us, and it means an accidental deletion is not a disaster either. Email hello@onetakestudio.app within those 30 days and we can put it back.
After 30 days the files are deleted permanently and cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else.
To be straightforward about a limitation rather than promise something we can't do: the 30-day window is simply how deletion works here, and we are not able to offer instant, permanent erasure of an entire account as a standard option. Deleted data leaves your account immediately, but it takes those 30 days to work its way out of our storage.
What we can do is erase a specific project ahead of that schedule. If there is a particular video or project you need destroyed straight away, email us and name it, and we will remove it permanently rather than waiting out the window.
Records we are legally required to keep for accounting (such as payment records) are kept separately and are not affected by deletion.
